本プログラムでは、留学生と日本人が共に日本文化を学ぶことを目的とし、日本で長らく親しまれてきた在来馬(木曽馬)の乗馬体験や初期鞍の装着実験を、長野県木曽郡の牧場で２日間行います。初心者の方も歓迎します。富士山のふもとで楽しく馬とふれ合いましょう。
そして３日目に埼玉大学で開催するシンポジウム「東アジア騎乗史：家畜化から重装騎兵まで」への参加により、多くの方と一緒に考え、さらに学びが深まることを期待しています。

This program aims to bring international students and Japanese students together to learn about Japanese culture through a two-day activity at a ranch in Kiso County, Nagano Prefecture. Participants will experience riding native Japanese horses (Kiso horses), which have long been popular in Japan, and experiment with initial saddle fitting. Beginners are welcome. Let's have fun interacting with horses at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
Also learn more by participating in the symposium “East Asian Riding History: From Domestication to Heavy Cavalry” to be held at Saitama University on day 3.

参加資格/Qualification	?参加者希望者は8/2のシンポジウムにもオンライン、もしくは対面で参加できること ?シンポジウム後に体験もしくはシンポジウムの感想を提出すること(日文または英文) ＊研修先付近にソバが栽培されているため、ソバアレルギーと馬アレルギー体質の方はご遠慮願います ?Participants must be able to attend the symposium on August 2, either online or in person ?Participants must submit a report on their experience or impressions of the symposium (in Japanese or English) * Please refrain from participating if you have allergies to buckwheat or horses, as buckwheat is grown near the training site.
宿泊費?食事代/ Accommodation and Meal Expenses	一人10,000円(１日目夕食、２日目朝食、宿泊費。１日目、２日目の昼食は含まれません) 10,000 JPY per person (Expenses include : Accommodation, Dinner ＆ Breakfast; Lunch for both days not included)

注意事項/Notes	?応募多数の場合は抽選にて参加者を決定します。結果および別途詳細は6月20日までに大学メールアドレスにご連絡します。 ?参加者は学生教育研究災害障害保険(「学研災」普通保険)に加入していること。 ?女子の参加者が４名以下となった場合、他の宿になる可能性があります。 ?If the number of applicants exceeds the limit, participants will be selected by lottery.　 Participants will be informed by June 20 via SU Email address. ?Participants must be insured by "Personal Accident Insurance for Student Pursuing Education and Research (Gakkensai)” ?If there are fewer than 4 female participants, they may be assigned to other accommodations close by.
